Astro Bot​ lidera las nominaciones en los The Game Awards 2024

Tal como se había anunciado, esta jornada se revelaron los nominados a los The Game Awards 2024, en donde Astro Bot​ es uno de los títulos con más nominaciones.

Astro Bot​ y Final Fantasy VII Rebirth recibieron un total de siete nominaciones, entre ellas a juego del año, categoría que comparte con Balatro, Black Myth Wukong, Metaphor: ReFantazio y el DLC Shadow of the Erdtree de Elden Ring, título que en 2022 ganó la categoría juego del año.

En el resto de las categorías destacan títulos como Silent Hill 2 en mejor narrativa y mejor juego de aventuras, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 como mejor juego de acción y multijugador; Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO y Tekken 6 como mejor juego de peleas; y Fortnite como juego como servicio y soporte a la comunidad.

En la categoría de mejor videojuego competitivo están nominados Counter-Strike 2, DOTA 2, League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang y Valorant. Mientras que en la categoría juego más esperado aparece Grand Theft Auto VI, que para muchos ya es el ganador, junto a Death Stranding 2, Ghost of Yotei, Metroid Prime 4 y Monster Hunter Wilds.

Por parte de Nintendo, Super Mario Party Jamboree y The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom lograron dos nominaciones, y Princess Peach: Showtime! aparace en una, donde todos compiten para convertirse en el mejor juego familiar, a los que se les suma Metroid Prime 4 como el juego más esperado.

En otros aspectos, está la categoría a mejor adaptación de videojuego, donde los nominados son Arcane (Netflix), Fallout (Prime Video), Knuckles (Paramount+), Like a Dragon Yakuza (Prime Video) y Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft (Netflix). Mientras que en mejor creador de contenido destaca el streamer español Illojuan

The Game Awards 2024 se llevará a cabo en la noche del 12 de diciembre de 2024, donde se darán a conocer a los títulos ganadores. Además, la votación popular para elegir el Players’ Voice Award iniciará el próximo 2 de diciembre.
